From the desk of an Overcomer:
"For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world -- our faith. Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God." I John 5:4,5

Cool Video
Here's a link to a 7 minute video - I think it's from a movie where the gospel of John is read and acted out...the reason I am posting it is because of the first 60 seconds and our study. Take a look and you'll understand...
Very awesome sunrise! It made me think of Ps. 19:1,2 "The heavens proclaim the glory of God, the skies display His craftsmenship. Day after day they continue to speak, night after night they make Him known. How amazing that ALL that He created still points back to it's Creator." Even in it's sinful state, it all continues to point to God truly showing that He is the Most High.
I haven't been very good about keeping up on the blog this week and almost missed this link. I'm glad I didn't I can't think of a better way to start the day but reflecting on Christ life and light in our darkness. Oh to be like John declaring the way of the Lord! How I could change my world.

ReplyDeleteIt was awesome...I agree...especially with the opening words of John being read at the same time...
