My mom sent me this verse as another reason to give thanks. She said, "It was too small a thing to only save Israel, so Jesus saved the Gentiles as well..."

To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel;
I will also make You a light of the nations so that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth." Isaiah 49:6
It was God's plan from the beginning to be a light to the whole world - Jesus didn't fail with Israel and decide to add Gentiles as a last minute change.
Thank you, Father, for clearly showing Your plan and following through with it.
WOW! To know that it was His plan from the start. Even then He know my failings, your failings, His peoples failings and yet He still created us. Knowing the hurt He would have to endure, giving up His son!!!
ReplyDeleteThat amount of love is humbling! But to know that it was His plan and that without any pause, He did follow thru and continues to follow thru even today. Even when we are so sinful, so forgetful....
Thank you just doesn't seem to be enough....and yet Thanks is all that we have to give Him for it all.
