Speak of all His wonders...

"Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; Speak of all His wonders." Psalm 105:2

It's hard to read Genesis 1 and 2 and not be moved by the awesome power of God. Our memory verse for this week instructs us to speak of all His wonders, so I thought we'd take a moment to do just that!

Exodus 15:11 says, "Who is like you among the gods, O Lord? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in praises, working wonders?" We know the answer to these questions - there is NONE like the Lord - He alone is God! So let's declare His wonders today - it can be in a sentence or in just a word, but let's speak of His wonders - physically, relationally, spiritually - there is no limit to His power!

Again...I'll start:

Lake Michigan + wind = God's awesome power displayed!

Lake Michigan + no wind = God's peaceful respite for the soul...

  1. Timothy (age 14) and I spent time on the Hubble site last night looking at some really AWESOME examples of God's creativity and power. Psalm 8:3-4 "When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and stars which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?" As awesome as all the incredible galaxies and stars are (you should go on the website and see some of them), what is really awesome is God's love for us. That he cares for us and provided his son as a sacrifice for us.

God + creation = God's awesome power visible to see.

God + the cross = God's awesome past, present, and future care for me.
