Sunday Morning

I know I said I was going to be off for a while, but...we just got a call from Fox News and they want to interview David on Sunday morning on the Fox and Friends show! Here's the article that caught their eye:

This spurred a very interesting phone call from the female host for Fox and Friends Sunday Morning show. They want Dave to be at the Grand Rapids Fox studio at 7:45 a.m. Sunday morning to be interviewed live. The pastor from C3 will be there as well to point/counter point with him (debate), and Dave is thrilled at the opportunity to speak for the cause of Christ on national television (despite the fact that his daughter's wedding is Saturday night...).

Please pray for him - you never know what curve ball will be thrown at you, but bottom line...the cross is central to the message of Jesus Christ and it is a privilege to be able to explain that in any setting.

UPDATE:

Here's a link to Dave's interview, in case you missed it...

  5. Thanks, everyone...we're still a bit in shock by the drama, but God works in amazing ways. This is a wonderful opportunity to lift hight the name of Christ. I am sure the opposing pastor is thrilled as well, because he wanted the press coverage when he told the newspapers he was taking the cross down. So in his eyes, it's a win situation...sad, huh?

  6. I read the article that you linked and then noticed another article related to this C3 Exchange. I have never heard anything about it but from the article, it sounded as if this C3 Exchange is teaching that authenticity saves-- that Christ is not the only way of salvation. Universalism? Am I reading into the article or is this pretty fair? If so, how sad. The article almost sounded fake, as if they'd copied the dialogue right out of the pages of one of your books.

  7. I agree, Jason - you should take a look at that church's website and pull up one of its bulletins...it's absolutely outrageous!

Dave did great this morning on the Fox and Friends show...he got one opportunity and I think he made the most of it! I don't know if I can find a link but I'll look to see if they post the video on the Fox site...

Thank you all for your prayers!
